Keeping all you fiends up to date on the latest, greatest, and most gloriously gruesome details about the TRIMMERS film.

What a tease(r)

About a year ago, I was fortunate enough to get involved with the Los Angeles Post Production Group: LAPPG. They hold extremely inciteful, and honestly, fun monthly meetings that often include a panel of speakers involved with current films or television series. A single piece of vital advice that routinely came up during Q&As (as well as in all the books I could get my grubby little eyes on regarding independent movie making) was to "FILM A PREVIEW."

Film is a visual medium. Meaning, a script has a lot more weight in perspective audiences eyes if they can attached a few more scenes to the mood and world you're creating.

The size and scope of ganja plants and gardens are truly a sight behold. Our generous friend couldn't have been more stoked to show off his big monsters for our first shoot. With their imposing height and width in the right light, it can be, ummm, perhaps.. even a little scary.

Please enjoy this first peek into the very beginnings of the TRIMMERS world.

With my background in photography, I couldn't be more excited to get the TRIMMERS instagram up and running! Pre production is half the journey to a successful film, and the theory is that we'll be able to connect with our community in some really fun ways.

I realize that a lot or even most of those who enjoy the many pleasures of cannabis may not realize that each and every bud is hand trimmed by an individual.

Yes, very much aware that “The Machines” are taking over. All the more reason to capture such a special time and place.

This all translates to TRIMMERS being responsible to educate its prospective audience about trimming and the ganja farming processes. Our instagram will aid in a visually bringing this to life as well as showcasing some fun behind the scenes creative progress.

Please give us a flow as it's sure to be one hell of a fall,

Thanks Sabs!
Officially making TRIMMERS more official this week as we snagged up the Instagram handle TRIMMERS.FILM   Our plan is to build out a social media strategy that's cohesive of a more dialed in script.

Speaking of the script! Draft two is complete and copyrighted with WGAs. Mentors are all receiving copies today to lovingly shred, hack, and rip apart, while also dousing said script with as much red ink as humanly possible.... and I couldn't be more grateful.

It's TRIMMERS community and support systems that gives us the confidence this early on to produce a full feature film. Acknowledging the mountain we have yet to climb, we feel extremely well prepared with an entire village of sherpas to keep us on course. That's right, TRIMMERS is gonna get wicked high.
Many thanks.

PS. The thanking will never cease to stop, best you be cool with it.

Where we at...

Here are the cold hard facts as this monster grows exponentially every day

  •  First draft is written. Undoubtedly there will be a few revised versions but this is coming along very smoothly. A year of research went into writing a screenplays, a lifetime of developing characters for the stage and film, along with 15 years of positive workflow for designing content.
  • We (obviously) own the domain TRIMMERS.FILM and this websight is live!
  •  A Teaser has been shot and footage is in our editor's hands. Pleased as punch to be collaborating George Cuddy of Pandora Film Labs. The idea here, is to give you an idea of our idea. The tone, mood, and world that is TRIMMERS. The first and thus important step in building buzz.
  • TRIMMERS has a producer! Rebecca Anne: New York City Mad Woman now Hollywood, most recently produced music videos for Metro Station (Trace Cyrus) and here's the thing... She's incredibly good at what she does while being one of the most calm and collected woman to grace this earth. Point blank: Rebecca kicks ass and I couldn't be more joyed to be on the same team.
  • MENTORS! Accompanied people who are doing some great things in the LA area.
  • Logo concepts up the wazoo. Poster concepts draining out ever pour.
  • E-MAIL!
Feel free to say hi or even use the contact form built into this site
  • One killer photo shoot with the gorgeous and talented Mary Jane Model herself Deja Destiny. Having worked with countels models over the past decade, she is one of the best, and the photos are living proof. Give her pages some love as I can't recommend her enough.
